Christopher Jepson moved to Basel in 2010 to take up the position of 2. Solo cellist of the Sinfonieorchester Basel, and since 2011 is Solo Cello of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival.
He is regularly invited to play in chamber music series across Europe, and was a member of the Swiss based Amar String Quartet from 2012-18.
He has given masterclasses in conservatories Europe, Asia and the Americas, and has been invited as Professor at the British Isles Music Festival, where he is still on the board of directors.
He is the founder and director of Rhein Klassik.
