Solocellist des Gstaad Menuhin Festival Orchestra. Er wird regelm\u00e4\u00dfig als Gast-Solocellist von Orchestern im In- und Ausland eingeladen und trat 2024 sogar als Solist beim Gstaad Menuhin Festival auf, wo er Tschaikowskys Rokoko-Variationen interpretierte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seine Orchesterlaufbahn begann er nach dem Studium an der Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin: Zun\u00e4chst wurde er Mitglied der Cellogruppe des Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, anschlie\u00dfend \u00fcbernahm er die Position des 2. Solocellisten im Sinfonieorchester Basel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chamber music has always been central to Christopher\u2019s musical life.\u00a0 He spent seven years as the cellist of the Amar String Quartet, Switzerland, and he appears frequently at chamber music festivals across Europe, performing with internationally acclaimed artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als P\u00e4dagoge wird Christopher als Celloprofessor zum British Isles Music Festival eingeladen, wo er zudem dem Vorstand angeh\u00f6rt. Er unterrichtet privat und gab Meisterkurse unter anderem am China Conservatory of Music (Peking) sowie an der University of Santiago (Chile) und arbeitete mit dem Asian Youth Orchestra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christopher ist Gr\u00fcnder und k\u00fcnstlerischer Leiter von Rhein Klassik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Christopher, a passionate chamber musician and dedicated teacher, performs internationally and gives masterclasses.<br \/>\nHe has held leading positions in major orchestras and is 1.
